TSCF C-Face Flange Torque Transducer and 9850 Torque Transducer and Load Cell Indicator System

Wired and Non-Rotating C-Face Flange Torque Transducer with a Digital Multi-Channel Indicator

The TSCF C-Face Flange Torque Transducer measures reaction torque in stationary test-bench applications and sends its mV/V signal to the 9850 Torque Transducer and Load Cell Indicator. The 9850 excites, conditions, converts, and displays the measurement while supporting peak monitoring, analog outputs, and software-based data logging. Together, they provide a complete solution for accurately monitoring and recording static torque.

TSCF C-Face Flange Torque Transducer

Wired and non-rotating

88.5 lbf-in to 885 lbf-in
10 Nm to 100 Nm

The TSCF is used in test benches for measuring the reaction torque (Wired and non-rotating).

The torque transducer consists of two flanges, which are connected with each other via 4 measuring spokes. The two flanges have the same bolt circle of 5.8 in (149 mm). The pilots are designed as an external and internal collar with Ø 4.5 in (Ø 114.3 mm).

Due to the large diameter of the torque transducer TSCF and the arrangement of the measuring spokes in the axial direction, this torque transducer can also absorb bending moments up to 1770 lbf-in (200 Nm), which are caused by the dead weight of the drive motor.

The connection is made via a terminal box with M12 connectors.

Optionally, an integral measuring amplifier can be provided instead of the terminal box so that the transducer has a voltage output of +/-10V.

9850 Torque Transducer and Load Cell Indicator

Digital, Multi-Channel

Model 9850’s modular design allows the use of 7 different types of input cards for 2 channels. Available channels include AC mV/V for use with Rotary Transformer type torque sensors, DC mV/V, ±5V or ±10V, 4-20mA, Frequency (speed), Encoder (angle) and LVDT position sensors. A 3rd math channel allows display of calculate values such as horsepower, unit conversion, peak or valley, etc. The dual ±10V analog outputs are assignable to any of the three channels. This product has a 7800 Hz sample rate, allows true peak monitoring. Model 9850 Includes software for graphical data display and logging.
