Interface Accessories are high-quality components that connect, mount, and support Interface products. Our accessories help maximize the functionality and accuracy of your Interface equipment, including our calibration systems, instrumentation, load cells, and torque transducers.
TIP: Our new Accessories Selection Guide is a valuable resource for pairing Interface products with the available accessories.
Accessories are available in many design configurations. We provide accessories that range from shielded cable and mating connectors to calibration adapters and resistors. Our top and bottom plates distribute the load over the support structure foundation, providing a prepared surface for the load cell. Precisely machined clevises, jam nuts, thread adapters, mating connectors, mounting plates, and rod end bearings provide rigid connections and reduce alignment errors.
INSTRUMENTATION, LOAD CELL, TORQUE, AND CALIBRATION SYSTEMS ACCESSORIES
Accessories assist with the reliability and performance of load cells and torque transducers. Important considerations when buying a new measurement device include having a suitable cable and connector. Are adapters required for your application? Will you be mounting the device? How will you be analyzing performance? Use the new Interface Accessories Selection Guide or contact our experienced Application Engineers to determine which accessories best suit your application.

DO YOU CALL THEM LOAD WASHERS, THRU-HOLE LOAD CELLS OR DONUTS?
In the world of test and measurement, one load cell model that seems to garner a series of names is the thru-hole load cell. Is it a through-hole, thru-hole, donut, load washer, or force washer load cell? The answer is all the above. Though the names may differ, the basic middle hole design feature is the same. These sensor model terms refer to the same cylindrical shape with a central hole. We refer to this model type as Interface Load Washer Load Cells.
Thru-hole sensors are versatile, accurate, and compact solutions for various applications, making them a valuable tool for engineers and technicians. In addition to load washer load cells, we have thru-hole torque transducers and multi-axis sensor models. They offer high-precision measurements, ensuring reliable data collection for quality control and performance monitoring tasks. The compact size allows space-saving installation even in tight areas, making them ideal for applications with limited footprints, like robotic systems or custom machinery. Learn more.
LOAD CELLS FOR BOND, ADHESIVE AND PEEL TESTING
Thousands of adhesives and bonding agents are used to assemble parts and final goods. In addition to their bonding characteristics, they may be required to have a certain elasticity, resistance to chemicals, electrical conductivity, temperature coefficient, or other controlled parameters.
A shear testing machine uses a load cell to measure the shear strength of bonds and adhesives. A load cell transforms bond and adhesive tests from a subjective evaluation of adhesion strength into a precise and objective measurement tool. This allows various industries to make data-driven decisions regarding adhesive selection, formulation optimization, and quality control. Read more about building shear testing machines and using sensors for peel, adhesive, and bonding tests. PLUS! Join us for our machine-building webinar, where we discuss these types of testing tools.
